Nickname: Riya
Probable Origin: Unknown
Self Identification (per monitor reports): Riya

------------------------------------------------

-Most Current Assessment- (to be filled in by officer assessing the student)

Military and Tactical: Very analytical and intuitive when dealing with others; can uncover personal motives and intentions easily and use information for her own good. Adept in tactics and strategy, but it was her ability to use even the sparest details to construct accurate predictions of enemy movements and reactions that has led us to target her for special operations training. In the one personal interview we actually managed to get her to speak to us in, the only statement she made was "The silent ones see and know everything. I like to be silent." She is trained in jujitsu, karate, kung-fu, and tai-chi.

Academic: Brilliant scientific mind, excelling in all subjects, but most notably chemistry and physics. During her tenure in Battle and Command School, has continued to impress us with her mathematical talents and calculative abilities. Fluent in IF Common, Japanese, French and Chinese, as well as sign language and lip reading.

Disciplinary History: One major incident (student killed with a broken neck) but involvement was never proven, and subsequent police investigation failed to produce sufficient evidence. No other reports of fighting, involvement in disputes, or even insubordination. For all we can tell, a virtually model student.

Family Notes: Parents killed in a motorcycle accident by a careless driver when Riya was three. Her mother was pregnant with her younger sister at the time of death. Grandmother took custody of student until her Battle School enrollment.

Medical History: Mild genetic mutation (most likely caused by excess radiation from Hiroshima H-Bomb attack during WWII) resulted in white hair. All immunizations; no illnesses or injuries ever known or recorded. It's as if she never gets a cold or a scratch on her.

Physical Description: Waist-length white hair, with lilting midnight-blue eyes. Tall and willowy, but her appearance is deceiving. Possessed of a lithe strength, and is very athletic, with that quick airy grace as if she floats while moving. Family crest tattooed on inner wrist of left hand.

Personality Assessment: Riya is quiet, withdrawn, and quite frankly, rather unnerving. She prefers to watch, listen, and analyze before becoming involved in any situation-- in fact, she carries this philosophy of observation a little too far sometimes. After she refused to play the mind game, we conducted a series of personal interviews, but to no avail. She's spoken to us only once over her time at both schools, and it seemed as if she were the one learning from us, instead of vice versa. Very calculating, acting only out of intelligent self-interst and self-preservation, and we might venture to say manipulative if we only had evidence of her involvement with any other soldier. The girl just does not seem to have any sorts of friends, companions, interests, or even allies. We wonder if she has any emotions at all, since she never seems to become depressed, irritated, or angry in the least. An odd girl, but talented regardless of her social catatonia and silent, observative personality.

Comments: Despite her perfect disciplinary record, watch her closely.

COMMAND SCHOOL PERSONNEL REPORT
------------------------------------------------
-Personal Information-
Student Name:
Hunter Gabriel
Birth Date: October 09
Current Age: 18
Previous Home: Kodiak, Alaska
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Hair Color: Copper-brown
Eye Color: Brown
Quad Name: Scorpion
Assigned Cell: D
Assigned AIT: Special Operations
Highest Held Battle School Rank: Soldier

Parents: Simon Reiner and Alicia Gabriel
-Occupations of Parents-
Father:
[Classified]
Mother: Geologist (Deceased)

Sibling(s): Hannah (Deceased)
Siblings Enlisted: None
Nickname: Gabe
Probable Origin: Shortened form of last name
Self Identification: Gabriel

------------------------------------------------

-Most Current Assessment- (to be filled in by officer assessing the student)

Military and Tactical: Gabriel has never been very easy for us to gauge, even when he was young. His mind is extremely sharp, and his memory is, as near as we can tell, next to perfect. He is extremely thorough and methodical, but rarely creative or intuitive, and therefore is generally rather predictable with his tactics. His leadership abilities are absolutely nil; his interaction with other students, excepting Rebecca Solenis, has been kept to a minimum, and we have observed mild resentment of his detachment among his peers. His physical abilities are certainly above par, and he was enrolled in hand-to-hand combat courses at Battle School since his arrival at age seven. However, we have only one record of any physical confrontation since he first enrolled in the courses, and the results were not to his advantage (see Medical History).

Academic: Our tests say he's brilliant. His grades say he's average in every way. The kid is a sleeper, apparently -- he seems to spend more time and thought trying to stay beneath our radar than he does actually doing the work he's given. He's specifically tailored his output to make himself a borderline student. However, that won't fly in Special Ops. Here there's no skating by; we're going to see if he really has what it takes, and he's going to either apply himself wash out. We're interested in seeing what he does when he's deprived of his comfortable middle ground.

Disciplinary History: Nothing notable. A few reprimands for being late without an excuse.

Family Notes: Parents divorced soon after birth of younger sister; boy has kept mother's surname. Mother and sister died years ago in a chopper crash, of which Gabriel was the only survivor. Investigation suspended indefinitely. Father only surviving relative. ------- -- -- - ----------- ---- --- ---- -- ------- --------(deleted). Investigation underway.

Medical History: Suffered serious injuries in a fight with two former launchmates, Denali Katera Quistin and Jaxen Narita. Has fully recovered. Also, was brought into the infirmary soon after his arrival and Command School with a stab wound to the chest. Neither Gabriel nor Solenis, who brought him in, would supply any details. Aside from scarring, Gabriel has since fully recovered.

Physical Description: Somewhat tall, with a trim, athletic build. Body honed by years of combat classes, reflexes sharp, and senses trained to a state of constant watchfulness. An instructor of his described him as a "spy in enemy territory". Copper-brown hair kept at medium length, generally observed brushed straight back, though we've noticed that the boy seems to maintain a style that at the same time requires next to no effort on his part, and still blends in among other students. Like he's camouflaging himself by trying to look unremarkable. The boy's most-noted feature is his detached stoicism. This boy could stare down a bulkhead.

Personality Assessment: This kid likes secrecy, that's for certain. For ten years he's been trying to learn as much about us while giving as little away about himself as possible, and I'm sorry to say, he's winning. The argument now is whether this makes him a security risk, or a perfect candidate for the Special Ops AIT. The boy is stoicism and reserve personified. The only exception we've seen is in his interaction with fellow student Rebecca Solenis. Gabriel and Solenis were in the same launch, and aside from a loose association with student Naomi Bishop, she was Gabriel's only friend. Because it was determined that to split them might force Gabe even deeper into his own isolation, they were transferred to their first army together, and they have been assigned as a pair ever since. Our discs of their interaction in Battle School, and while in holocammed areas of Command School, seem to suggest a very deep affection between these two, especially since their arrival at Command School. Though it seems to go against all analyses made concerning Gabriel's character, we cannot discount it. Because we know so little, we can only make the most basic observations: Gabriel is taciturn young man in the habit of working very hard not to stand out too much, and he cares deeply for Rebecca Solenis. Everything else we could say about him would be opinion.

Comments: There has been significant argument over this boy's future in the IF. Many want him expelled entirely, given his compulsion toward secrecy and his family history, but most can agree that it would be an unnecessary risk to assign him to the Special Operations AIT. The SOTF is, by definition, a very sensitive portion of the IF, and it was Gabriel's father who, ------- ----- ---, ------ -- -- ------- --- --------- ------ ----- -- --- ------- ------- -- --- ---- ---- ---------- --- ---------(deleted). However, Command School's headmaster, Major Bryant, has steadfastly insisted that the boy is not a security risk, and that there is no place better suited to his talents than the SOTF. Though the Special Operations AIT's primary instructor, Captain William Hale, has opposed the boy's admittance quite vocally, he has agreed to take the boy on as a probational student. For the first semester, Gabriel cannot be dismissed from the program so long as he meets the physical and academic requirements. After that, at Captain Hale's discretion, the boy can be removed at any time with no questions asked.

COMMAND SCHOOL PERSONNEL REPORT

------------------------------------------------
-Personal Information-
Student Name: Minerva Thoth
Birth Date: July 6
Current Age: 18
Previous Home: Boring, Oregon
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Green/Blue
Quad Name: Scorpian
Assigned Cell: D
Assigned AIT: Special Operations
Highest Held Battle School Rank: Soldier
Parents: Craig and Andrea Thoth
-Occupations of Parents-
Father: Musician
Mother: Doctor
Sibling(s): Curtis (deceased)
Siblings Enlisted: None
Nickname: none
Probable Origin: N/A
Self Identification: Minerva
------------------------------------------------
-Most Current Assessment- (to be filled in by officer assessing the student)
Military and Tactical: Minerva is an extremely intelligent person with a vast array of knowledge. Her athletic ability is also very high which makes her more competent in the battle room as a soldier. Her leadership skills have slightly improved since arriving at Command School and will probably keep improving with time. She is still at the point that if someone takes command fairly soon, she accepts it and doesn’t try to assert herself.

Academic: Minerva has always been strong intellectually. She has always been among the top in her class in Battle school and command school. Her intellectual presence in Special Ops will be needed.

Disciplinary History: No major incidents recorded.

Family Notes: Parents worked a lot at their respective jobs. Minerva claims she was raised mainly by her brother Curtis. He died a month before her leaving for Battle School in a robbery incident. Minerva was apparently never the same after his death. Her parents enrolled her in fencing classes at a very early age which she continues to practice to this day.

Medical History: Just the typical bumps and bruises.

Physical Description: A fairly tall girl for her age with a tough build. She is physically fit, especially in her arms, apparently from her fencing work. She also took karate lessons in Battle School and still practices moves in the gym. She looks very intimidating, even though she would prefer not to fight. She has very expressive eyes, which are sometimes referred to as her "weakness."

Personality Assessment: Minerva used to be extremely emotional but has changed quite a bit since arriving at Command School. She’s grown older and wiser. As said before, her expressive eyes are sometimes referred to as her "weakness." I do not believe she lets on all that is happening in her brain though. She acts a bit "stupid" around some of the children, only to humiliate them on studies or in the battle room later. As if they drop their expectations about her and burn for it.

Comments: She has improved a little since arriving. Her leadership skills have appeared much to our happiness. Her knowledge is needed in Special Ops and she should excel in her own way. It may be a bit grueling for her, however, and I’m not sure how she is going to handle the emotional factor of it.
