I still can't think of one. My head is full of post-colonial literature, and rhetorical studies... The semester is over in five weeks or so. Maybe I can compress some of the junk to have room to come up with something to write about.

Well, this my thinking. Perhaps we should break down some basic things, like...

Are we using the same characters, or different, new ones?

Are we reusing any of the same settings, or are we going to try something new?

I think that since Pam is going to be writing with us, we should start with all new characters... especially seeing as how most of our regulars aren't very sociable and trying to encourage someone like Kat to make new friends is beyond even me.

I am game for using the IFC world, and also for trying something new. Mostly I don't care about anything beyond writing again, because I am being creatively stifled at work since all my sentences in reports have to start with (SUSPECT stated...) and they do not take kindly to embellishments like exclamation points and ellipses. So let's just get back on this horse and start riding. Yeah.

Hah, your current writing sounds perfect for IFC. All those shady characters...

I also have been fiending to write, but I've been in school and then went on vacation, so I have been SLACKING.

I still think a lot about Lucas, even though he was never canon. But someone new would be spiffing! The IFCverse is fun and familiar, but I'm open to whatever your superior minds want! I logged in today with the idea that I'd force myself to post something creative, so I will still try to do that! Perhaps it will be a good lure.

Vex, what is your deal with not being able to write without other people? Loads of authors seem to be able to write tons of stuff all by themselves. You need more perspective! Get into the heads of all your characters! Expand a little.
