Kitten sez: "Gee thanks, Papa Q! I can't wait to go home and play with my friends again!"

There's this really cool song I learned by heart when I was like five cause my dad liked it a lot and made me listen to it. It's effectively a ballad for this russian soldier during WWII. In honor of Enemy at the Gates, I shall sing it! Stanza by stanza, of course.

(sung by Al Stewart, whose slightly funky voice is outweighed by the coolness of his lyrics and the awesomeness of his music)

Anywho. The name Solenis came from that story. I even named my poor kitty (who is sick) Rillan after one of the characters from that story. If you think THIS is soap opera tripe...WHEW, baby. That story was just one big long ... soapy....operatic....stomach liner. Maybe some day if I am REALLY BRAVE or REALLY DRUNK and Missa gives permission I'll send you guys a synopsis.

I wonder if any of you guys have seen Light Years? That animated movie about that Isaac Asimov book?

Rem was mentioning to me the other day that he hadn't read the Count of Monte Cristo. Now that book...that book is AWESOME.
